By creating an account or using any part of the Trailmate platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice.

Trailmate is an informational platform that surfaces publicly available trading data from Polymarket prediction markets. We allow users to:

• View trader profiles, P&L history, and win rates derived from public on-chain data.
• Follow traders and receive alerts when they make trades.
• Participate in community discussions.
• Access leaderboards and analytics dashboards.

Trailmate is not a financial advisory service. Nothing on the platform constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. See our Investment Disclaimer for full details.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share your password.
• Notify us immediately at hello@trailmate.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You agree to use Trailmate only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for all content you post and actions you take on the platform.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Attempt to manipulate leaderboards or misrepresent trading performance.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or tools to extract data at scale without our written permission.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the platform.
• Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.

The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:

• Impersonating any person or entity, including Trailmate staff or verified traders.
• Posting spam, unsolicited promotions, or pyramid scheme content in community areas.
• Sharing or distributing malware, phishing links, or harmful code.
• Using Trailmate data to build competing products without a commercial license.
• Any activity that disrupts, damages, or impairs the platform's infrastructure.

The Trailmate name, logo, platform design, software, and all content we create are owned by Trailmate and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.

Polymarket trading data displayed on Trailmate is sourced from public blockchain records and the Polymarket API. We make no claim of ownership over that underlying data.

By posting content in community areas (messages, comments), you grant Trailmate a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

Trailmate offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. By subscribing to Pro, you agree to recurring billing at the rate shown at checkout. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no partial refunds.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Trailmate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, or uninterrupted availability.

We do not warrant that trader data displayed on the platform is complete, accurate, or up-to-date. Polymarket data is fetched from third-party APIs and may contain errors or delays.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trailmate and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform — including any trading losses you incur based on information viewed on Trailmate.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or engaged in fraudulent or harmful behaviour.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion removes your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
